This site is my attempt to turn raw notes into a publishable website. I'm not a writer. I'm not a developer. And, believe it or not, I’m not a graphic artist either. You'll probably notice all of that here.
Here you’ll find notes, articles, and other writings I’ve created at different points in my life, in various languages: Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
Not everything will make sense to everyone, but each note made sense to me at some moment. Many have also been useful to others. These are notes from me, to me. Sometimes they were written for someone else or a community, but even then, they carry the context needed for that audience to understand them.
As of today, this site is built with Markdown files, which lets me move freely across different apps while maintaining full control over my information.
I’ve migrated old notes from Blogger, Evernote, personal journals, Reddit posts, and other scattered sources. I've lost quite a few pieces from platforms that no longer exist. Since 2021, I’ve been writing primarily in Obsidian, which I enjoy a lot, even though I try to stay as tool-agnostic as possible.
A quick heads-up: while many links appear throughout these notes, not all of them will work here. Some lead to private notes; others are placeholders for future content. Feel free to check back, new notes will appear as I refine them, and older notes may evolve over time (though changes might not always be marked).
This site also serves two additional purposes:
- To create a portfolio and knowledge base
- To experiment with concepts and AI
As part of this experiment, MentisCraft was born. It explores how AI can be used to post-process documents created by both humans and AI, while following a long-term set of rules and guidelines for content creation. Wherever AI has contributed, it's clearly declared as a collaborator within the note itself.
For this framework, I’ve introduced the concept of MentisCells. These are notes crafted following the Zettelkasten principles and written in pair, with an AI doing the first steps and with me doing the review, reorganization, and keeping it to the agreed standard.
